It’s pretty much impossible to get a hotel in Bournemouth which isn’t near the beach, but if you want one that is mere steps away, then here is our list of the best ones.

The Cumberland Hotel sits directly across from the beach, you can walk directly from the outdoor pool to the beach by simply crossing a road and walking down the zig-zag to the beach below.

This Bournemouth Beach Hotel has an outdoor pool which is a unique shape in keeping with its 1920s interior decoration vibe. Many events take place around this pool and it is a favourite location for the Bournemouth Air Festival, where hundreds of people mingle to listen to the live DJ while, while drinking their cocktails, watching the aircraft go by.

The hotel is a short drive to Bournemouth Pier, which you can see from your hotel balcony and a short drive to Bournemouth town centre. This is one of the best beach front hotels in Bournemouth.

With the bonus of simply having to walk down or take a cable car down from this hotel to the beach below.

This hotel is situated on the Westcliff adjacent to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and a very short walk to Bournemouth Pier. You can walk into Bournemouth town centre from here, and the hotel is in the middle of everything.

Getting to and from the hotel is easy too, there is a taxi rank right outside the building and bus stops within walking distance just around the corner. Buses from here can take you practically anywhere. Bournemouth train station is a short distance away, no longer than a 10-minute drive.

Practically right on the sea, you have the Bournemouth Pier as your neighbour. A short 10-minute walk to the town centre. The hotel is meters away from Bournemouth gardens and has a bird’s-eye view of the Bournemouth coastline.

This 4 star hotel is a short walk away from Bournemouth town centre at roughly 5 minutes and absolutely no roads to cross to get there.

The Hermitage Hotel has what only a small percentage of hotels in the UK have and that is an in-house AA-Rosette-awarded restaurant. You don’t even need to leave the hotel to experience one of the best restaurants in Bournemouth.
