Sandpolo Sandbanks – Beach Events
Every year thousands of people and hundreds of horses travel across the UK and Europe to visit Sandbanks beach to take part in and watch the award-winning Sandbanks SandPolo hosted by the British Beach Sand Polo Championships.
Held on the glorious Sandbanks beach in Poole, Dorset famous for its high property prices and ‘Millionaires Row’. Sandbanks beach has miles of golden sandy beaches and incredible views. Attended by many celebrities each year.
The Sandpolo Sandbanks is not only about polo and horses but is one of Dorset’s top social calendar events. Bringing food, sport, fashion, celebrities, and fine dining together into one big event. Take a sample or two from the huge street food village and relax at the pitch sidebar and then party later on with top entertainment every night until 1 am.

The Sand Polo at Sandbanks 2023 is on the 7th and 8th of July.
SandPolo Dresscode
The dress code is smart casual. Nobody really wears jeans so you will look a tad out of place if you turn up dressed that casually. Parts of the day are on the sand, so please bring appropriate shoes. It’s nearly impossible to walk on the sand in heels.
For men light trousers or smart shorts are a good option. For women a nice summer dress.
